Joinery
Joint types for solid wood drawers
Every joint is cut to fit and glued tight, with no mechanical fasteners, for a drawer that runs smoothly and holds firm for decades.
Dovetail joints
Our standard. Half-blind dovetails hide the joint from the front, through dovetails show it on all sides as a design detail. The strongest drawer joint, resistant to being pulled apart.
Finger joints
Interlocking comb profiles cut into both sides and glued. A clean, contemporary look and a cost-efficient option for larger series.

Solid wood material options
Dense, slow-grown hardwoods for strength and durability. Every wood is available oiled, lacquered or stained to suit your range.
Solid oak
The classic choice: strong, durable and humidity resistant, with a warm tone and visible grain. Oiled, lacquered or stained.
Solid walnut
A premium, stable hardwood with rich light-to-dark brown tones for high-end furniture. Oiled, lacquered or stained.
Custom solid wood
Ash, birch, beech, maple, smoked oak or douglas on request. Tell us the wood your collection uses.
Specifications
Built to your drawer specification
To size a drawer, subtract the runner gaps from the cabinet inner width: drawer width = cabinet inner width − 2 × runner gap. Send us your cabinet sizes and runner system and we will check the details.
Drawer types
Type 1: ready-to-use drawer with an integrated front, optionally with cut-out handles. Type 2: drawer box prepared for a separate front.
Sides and bottoms
Solid wood sides in 13, 14, 15, 16 mm. Bottoms in 6 or 9 mm MDF, veneered on both sides.
Runners
Blum Movento and Tandem as standard. Hettich and Grass systems on request, with runners supplied and fitted if needed.
Drilling and handles
Holes for front fixing drilled to your drawings, and milled handles made to your design.
Accessories
Dividers for drawer boxes
Fitted dividers and inserts that organise the drawer interior and match the solid wood box, shaped to your specification for cutlery, utensils and everyday items.

Which runners are your drawer boxes built for?
Our boxes are built to suit Blum runner systems, including Movento and Tandem. If you work with a different system, let us know and we will build to the correct tolerances.
Where can you deliver the drawers?
We deliver throughout Europe as standard. We can also supply North American markets where needed, so tell us your destination and we will arrange it.
Can you apply different stains and lacquers?
Yes. We can apply any stain, lacquer, gloss or oil finish you require. It is simply a matter of agreeing the specification. Some finishes cost more than others, but we are able to provide them.
What are your lead times?
Lead times depend on the order volume. As a guide, we can often reach a turnaround of around four weeks, and we confirm a firm date with every quote.
Who do you make these drawer boxes for?
Mostly furniture brands that sell kitchens, wardrobes and other fitted furniture, where our boxes go into their own products under their name. We also supply private clients directly, so whether you are a brand ordering at volume or a homeowner fitting out a single project, we can help.

Simply get in touch to begin. We will agree pricing based on your volume, and from there we can produce a sample for you to assess before committing to a full order. Please note that samples are chargeable, but they let you confirm the quality and finish firsthand.
